I love Molly Shannon so I knew I had to get my hands on this memoir ASAP。 Lucky for me， I work for HarperCollins and was able to dig in early。Molly is so great - she is hilarious and kind and a badass。 The fact that she narrates the memoir makes the whole thing more personal and you find yourself rooting for her the whole time。 Even when she's up to shenanigans。 It makes me want to rewatch all of her SNL episodes and especially SUPERSTAR I love Molly Shannon so I knew I had to get my hands on this memoir ASAP。 Lucky for me， I work for HarperCollins and was able to dig in early。Molly is so great - she is hilarious and kind and a badass。 The fact that she narrates the memoir makes the whole thing more personal and you find yourself rooting for her the whole time。 Even when she's up to shenanigans。 It makes me want to rewatch all of her SNL episodes and especially SUPERSTAR 。。。more

I was lucky enough to win this book in a Goodreads giveaway contest。 I am a big fan of the the comedian， especially her SNL characters and I loved reading her memoir and hearing about her early years and how it shaped her career as a comedian and actor。 5 Stars ！

Who doesn’t love a celebrity memoir voiced by the actual celebrity？ Mary Katherine Gallagher is iconic， so I loved hearing the backstory of her creation。 People will absolutely love the information about SNK， but my favorite part of this book were her stories about her dad。 I also love the little tidbits about Serendipity because that is one of my all time favorite romcoms！！ Thank you so much for my gifted copy！

I absolutely loved this book。 The beginning made me cry， I could feel the pain and sadness。 There were parts through out the book though that made me laugh so hard。 It was a great read and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting something good to read。

You might pick up this book expecting it to be a laugh riot， which it is， but only some sections。 Molly’s childhood was somewhat sad and this book delves deeply into that。 It’s a fascinating book。 After I finished it， I went back and watched several of her SNL skits。 I definitely didn’t appreciate her enough， she is a powerhouse！！ I highly recommend the audiobook version since Molly narrates it herself and it’s a joy to hear her expressive voice。 Five stars for Molly！ Superstar！
